_A-Z of Skateboarding Tricks Online - Nov. 19th 2006
I just discoverd this site through crailtap.com...seems like some flash/tech/nerds came up with an interactive look at skateboarding tricks of today and the past. Check out the future skatebot as he/she performs the tricks on command...and it even has slow-mo for all you kiddies who want to try and learn these tricks in the comfort of home on the carpet then take the tricks out to the parking lots of your local skateparks....or maybe just wish they could skate and just play more video games. Starting the year off getting the flu isn't the best way to start off the new year but shit happens. Can't wait to skate again.

_BMX @ skateparks12//14/04
When I was a young lad I was into riding some BMX too, like dirt tracks and shit like that. Doing some nice gap dirt jumps or racing at Harbor BMX or Ascot. But that was then, this is now...

On any given day there will be hordes of them at your local skateparks with their bikes. On the decks, in the way of skateboarders lines...basically fucking shit up. I mean ok not all the guys on the bikes do it on purpose, those usually are the ones that know the program. From any SoCal park to Hong Kong it's the same shit.. What happened to getting "rad" in the dirt anyhow? I almost got majorly fucked up last Sunday skating. I was doing an ollie from a roll in to a quarter pipe and this guy ROLLS IN as I'm mid-air. I just barely caught wind of him spit seconds before I would of hit head on. Luckily I tucked in time and hurdled him. Fucking if you know anybody who rides "BMX", or you are now reading this shit and ride a bike at skateparks...get a fucking clue...take that shit to the dirt...have some fucking respect for the skateboarders already! Thank you

_Doze Green paints on a harbour cruise 11/30/04


Royal Elastics presents Doze Green & Sheone @ North Point Vehicular Ferry Pier in Hong Kong. The party was on a boat in case you were wondering what a ferry is. So we cruised Victoria Harbour from 9-11pm and at 10pm all the Heinekens were all gone already. Ill planning or clever ploy? While all this was going on Doze threw up an awesome display of how to be a painter in front of a live studio audience. Here is a sample of what went down.
Maybe one of these days I'll share what else happened.

_Sex & Skateboarding 11//28/04
Having sex the night before you go skating does wonders for your skating abilities. Today at Mei Foo skatepark I had a good day of skating and found some new lines there. It's not the best skatepark but it's the best one in Hong Kong.

It happened over the weekend officially, yeah I'm a bit late. ODB had some fucking kick ass songs for damn sure and thought I'd give him some love too on haterskater.com. One ironic thing about him passing is that he went out in a recording studio, the place that made him "famous". All the greats got to go sometime they say. He was the same age as I am...makes you think.

_Chai Wan, Hong Kong 11/04/04



Well feel fortunate for what you have over there in L.A. that's all I got to say. Today after work I had the itch to do some skating so I set out to do just that. After a 25 minute subway ride inside a packed train across the bay to Hong Kong island to the end of the route I got off the train to begin my journey. Having just the name of the town Chai Wan, it was up to me to sniff out where the local skatepark was. There was a park right across the road, basketball and tennis courts plain in site. So I headed that way thinking it must be around here. Asked some local jocks where do I skateboard at?. They had no clue what I was asking them, I'm here pointing at my skate, "skatepark" where is it? No fucken clue. So I headed up the road, was asking every other person I passed by, where is the skatepark? Got that smile and bewildered eyes with the same head nod accompanied by I don't know. Finally I found some kid who said to me, "oh yeah it's by the indoor public swimming pool". Okay this is getting better, then he's all it's about 20 minutes from here. Are you kidding me! So off I go towards my goal. Not to mention I already slammed my shin nice and hard as I jumped on my board as it stopped in a groove in the sidewalk. Gotta love that feeling. So I'm walking and skating towards the kind teens directions when finally I asked a taxi driver where the public indoor pool was. He fucking knew where it was! Ahhh a sigh of hope, I hopped in his red taxi and off we were. He pointed to some building up the way, "see it's up that a way, the MTR is down that way if you want to go back." Fuck that, I'm thinking, I've gone this far already I'm fucking skating!!! So he dropped me off at the top of some hill next to a series of ugly square buildings and I see a fancy fencing. That looks goofy enough to be around a skatepark I'm thinking so I head towards it, don't hear any sound of skateboarding yet. Then I see a sign! Eureka I found it...and to my dismay it was completely empty and shitty as can be. At the same time it felt like an oasis to me...smooth ground, no fucking kids and something to grind. Bliss. Yeah so next time your sitting there thinking there's nothing to skate...think again. Thanks for your time. (Elvis in HK)
